Penobscot Climate Action Public Meeting

Work together to strengthen our communities’ people, infrastructure, and economy in the face of a changing climate.

Penobscot Climate Action is a regional collaboration of towns led by the Bangor Area Comprehensive Transportation System (BACTS), in partnership with the City of Bangor & Town of Orono, to identify vulnerabilities to more extreme weather and a changing climate, and to develop action plans that will address those risks.

Please join us for our first public meeting! Help build a shared vision for climate action and adaptation. Learn about the vulnerabilities identified in the first phase of the project as well as our region’s main sources of greenhouse gas emissions; and discuss potential strategies to enhance regional resilience.
